Taking Your First Order

Moneta Pay POS is designed for speed. Most orders take just 3 clicks.

Step by Step

1. Log in — Enter your waiter PIN on the main screen
2. Select a table — Tap the table number or create a new order
3. Add items — Browse the menu categories and tap items to add them. Use modifiers for special requests (e.g., "no ice", "extra spicy")
4. Send to kitchen — Tap "Print" to send the order. Kitchen tickets print automatically to the correct station (drinks to the bar, food to the kitchen)
5. Close the order — When the customer is ready to pay, select the payment method (cash or M-PESA) and close the order. A receipt prints automatically

Tips

• Use the search bar to quickly find menu items by name or code
• Keyboard shortcuts are available for power users — ask your admin for the shortcut list
• If you make a mistake, you can void individual items (with a reason) before closing the order
• The float system tracks your cash — make sure to record your starting float at the beginning of your shift
