CCTV Integration

Link your Dahua camera feeds to POS transactions for loss prevention and accountability.

How It Works

The CCTV integration overlays order information on your camera video feeds in real-time. When a waiter takes an order, the order details appear on the camera feed for that area of the restaurant.

This creates an accountability layer — you can review video footage alongside the exact orders being placed at any time.

What You Can Do

• Review footage by order — click on any order to see the camera feed at that exact time
• Review footage by waiter — see all activity for a specific waiter during their shift
• Spot discrepancies — compare what was served vs what was rung up
• Void verification — see video of voided orders to confirm they were legitimate

Supported Cameras

Currently supports Dahua IP cameras with RTSP streaming. The cameras must be on the same local network as the POS server.

Setup

1. Install Dahua cameras covering your order-taking areas
2. Configure camera RTSP URLs in the POS admin panel
3. Map cameras to areas (e.g., "Counter Camera" → counter terminal)
4. The overlay starts automatically
